Faculty Mentoring Program
Our Mobile Mentors were chosen to assist in the piloting of RSCC’s Mobilization Plan. The purposes of our Mobile Mentors are to foster mobilization within their divisions/discipline and help extend our learning and expertise to the sites. In addition, they help the mobile learning steering team identify and address areas of focused support.
The goals of our mobile learning mentor program are:

offer better support to our sites (especially Knox and Cumberland)

develop and deliver division/department-level training as needed

proactively reach out to faculty using iPads to support, answer questions and identify areas where focused training or support is required

support faculty in their eventual development of feedback/assessment
Mobile learning mentors will:
-
reach out to their faculty to see how things are going, what are the issues/obstacles facing use of iPad in classroom

report issues and/or special training needs for CTAT/Library focus

share information relevant to specific division/department

do informal trainings or app shares as appropriate encourage feedback from faculty about their use of mobile technologies and offer insight to Steering Team on how iPads are being used
