Engaged Learning Environment
What is the Engaged Learning Environment?
The Engaged Learning Environment is a prototype for a mobile-device friendly classroom. ELE classrooms are available at the Harriman Campus Tech Building (T-303) and the Oak Ridge Branch Campus (Goff-215).
Both classrooms were developed as a collaborative project by CTAT, library services, and Roane State’s Educational Technology Committee with lots of input from Roane State faculty. We developed the classroom to pilot possible models for future classrooms in which mobile technologies and flexible furniture are used to create ideal classrooms for “flipped” classes and collaborative student class work.
Do I have to schedule all my classes in the ELE?
